In 2012, a game was released for the Nintendo DS that combined the worlds of Pokemon and Nobunaga’s Ambition, a strategy game made in Japan in 1987. The game was called Pokemon Conquest.
In Pokemon Conquest, players take on the role of a young warlord who is trying to unite the kingdoms of Ransei. To do this, they must conquer all 17 kingdoms using their team of pokemon. The game features nearly 200 different pokemon, including some from the latest games in the main series, Pokemon Black 2 and White 2.
The gameplay is similar to traditional pokemon games, but with an added strategy element.
