Paper Mario ROM is playable on any N64 emulators and those devices that can run the eN64 emulators. Paper Mario is a role-playing video game developed by Intelligent Systems and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo 64 home video game console. The game was released in Japan in 2000, in North America in 2001, and in Europe in 2002.
Paper Mario is the first installment of the Paper Mario series and follows Mario as he attempts to rescue Princess Peach from Bowser, who has kidnapped her and trapped her inside the walls of his castle. The game combines elements of both traditional role-playing games and platformers.
The gameplay consists of controlling Mario as he progresses through linear levels while defeating enemies and collecting items. The game features an active-time battle system in which players can input commands when Enemy icons appear over their heads. Successfully timed attacks deal more damage to enemies than those that are not well-timed. The game was a commercial success selling.
